Generating better evidence for a range of interventions used in the treatment of patients with calciphylaxis

The Better Evidence And Translation for Calciphylaxis (BEAT-Calci) trial aims to find the best treatments for calciphylaxis. Calciphylaxis is a rare, painful disease that affects people with kidney failure. It has a poor prognosis and no proven treatment options. New data and new treatments are urgently needed.

BEAT-Calci commenced in 2021, testing various interventions, including different haemodialysis technologies and drug therapies.
